A lightning talk at Noisebridge's monthly 5 Minutes of Fame event. This month's 5mof is connected with the weekend's Represent Yourself unconference, which is relevant to my topic, so it's a good month to go and present.

My title:

Consensus Dynamics Questions.

Here's the presentation:

  • WorkingWiki messages

    • That's a "hybrid pdf", which can be used anywhere PDF files are accepted, but supposedly can also be opened and edited natively by OpenOffice Impress.
  • [log]lw-consensus-2012-03-15.odp
    • That's the regular Impress version of the file.

Boring notes on file formats:

  • The organizers require a Powerpoint, Keystone, or OpenOffice presentation, and don't want PDF slides (believe me, I asked), so I've installed the PDF import extension for OpenOffice and used it to import my PDF slides from December into LibreOffice Draw. It took about a half hour to import, but it looks great! (I've uploaded the Draw version of the December presentation for safekeeping.) Now I've copied and pasted slides from there to make the new presentation, plus a slide with the Pizza Cube, which wasn't around yet in December.
